Summer 2024 saw us win our second overall championship in three years at the National Tullamore Show. Judging the Angus classes was Steven O’Kane who has both exhibited and judged cattle of various breeds across the UK. Claiming the Overall Championship was Liss Minree Z285. This impressive young calf is sired by Penguin Henry M503 and out of the homebred cow Liss Minree V916, a Mogeely Lord Harrow daughter. Emerging from a highly competitive class of autumn-born heifer calves, Liss Minree Z285 secured the Overall Female Championship before being crowned Supreme Champion.

Liss Mizer A328 almost replicated Liss Bruno’s feat from 2 years ago but narrowly missed out by winning the Reserve Male Championship. February born Mizer was the standout in the January 2024 onwards class. He is a son of senior stock bull Lisduff Bang Bang out of Liss Mural T732, a Liss Darl R561 daughter.
